Disabled people are defined as those who, as a result of an impairment of their physical, mental, or intellectual functions, are so impaired that their daily activities or participation in society are hindered.

This Act applies in the Federal Republic of Germany and in the exclusive economic zone to the employment of persons who are not yet 18 years of age in vocational training, as employees or homeworkers, with other services similar to the work performed by employees or homeworkers, in a training relationship similar to vocational training.

AÜG

The Temporary Employment Act (Arbeitnehmerüberlassungsgesetz, AÜG) regulates the temporary employment of workers by their employer (temporary employment agency) to perform work for third parties (hirer). Its primary purpose is to provide social protection for temporary workers.

The statutory maternity protection is intended to protect the (expectant) mother and her child from risks, excessive demands and damage to health at work, from financial losses and from job loss during pregnancy and for some time after birth.
